To reach the zippered front panel or the main compartment, the Vision 15's front flap can be opened by first unfastening its large, side release buckle. Pulling back the front flap also grants access to the slip pocket along the outside of the front panel, which along with the rear panel's slip pocket, can comfortably store assorted maps, notebooks, or documents.

While its padded, adjustable shoulder strap allows this bag to be worn along or across the body, the Vision 15 can also be carried using its built-in top handle. Featuring durable nylon and polyester construction with a waterproof, abrasion-resistant bottom, this bag also includes a seam-sealed cover for use under heavy rain. While traveling with a rolling case that has a telescoping handle, a pass-through band across the rear panel allows the entire bag to be mounted onto such handles for added convenience.

Think Tank Photo Vision 15 Reviews

Another Good Think Tank Bag

I have used various Think Tank bags for years and prefer them of other brands. This one lives up to the reputation for quality, function, and appearance. I love the olive color. I use it to primarily carry a full frame Sony body along with the holy trinity of lenses and speedlight. Everything fits perfectly and there are plenty of organizing options for other tools and accessories including a laptop if I have the need to carry it. None of my Think Tank bags have come even close to wearing out but if this one did, I'd buy it again.

Perfectly oversized!

This bag is great! Lots of pockets and the quality of the materials are top notch. From needing to hold several lenses or 2 bodies with a few lenses, conversion within the bag is easy. Room for personal items, triggers, SD cards, keys, even water bottles, the options are numerous. I tend to bring a lot of gear so this bag fits my needs perfectly. Weather protection is also included.

Versatile and almost perfect.

I have been searching for a replacement camera bag for about 3 years. Most have either been too big, too small, over priced, or just plain ugly. Nothing I had tried measured up to a cheap imported canvas bag I bought over a decade ago. If I hadn't outgrown it with the gear I wanted to carry it would still be my bag of choice. The Think tank bag is sturdy, easily configurable, fits multiple lenses, and although it is large it isn't so massive it looks like a suitcase while carrying it.

Disappointing

I bought this because I couldn't easily find a Mindshift Exposure 15 - B&H had a great sale on the Exposure 13 but I needed the bigger bag. The Vision and Explorer bags share similar design features and could be considered town and country cousins. The Vision line has a more urban aesthetic and the Exposure a more rugged one. I am OK sith either - for me the functionality is more important. The Vision has some plusses - for one the front zipped pocket is much better due to gussets on either side. The front pocket on the exposure is really awkward to access. The main disappointment for me was the zipper cover under the top flap - feature great on paper but next to useless in practice as it is awkward to zip with a single ended zipper. A zipper at each end might be better but the right angle corners would still be challenging. This zipped cover in. O way makes up for the lack of the "rain wings" that the Exposure bags have. I sent the Vision 15 back and have been fortunate to find an open box Exposure 15 which works much better for me. Of course there is no perfect bag and we all have different preferences. The Vision 15 is definitely middle of the bag and I am used to better from ThinkTank.

This Think Tank Photo Vision 15 Bag is extremely well made and well thought out. All of the inner compartments are customizable and the Velcro on the dividers is very strong and won't detach unless you want it to. Fantastic design. I'm very confident it will protect my gear and will be adaptable for future use because of the smart design. Outer pockets are a little snug, so only very thin items can be put in those compartments. Also love the attachment on the bottom for securing a small tripod to the bag. Great design. Very happy with it.

Excellent quality - Just the size I need

Well built bag and a well thought out layout as well. Lots if nice features that elevate this bag (special clips for mounting a tripod under the bag, additional lens holder, zipper sealed internals, etc.). The olive looks lovely and the quality of construction is solid. Highly recommend this bag!

Fantastic all around bag . . .

I've used Think Tank products before, and must say this bag is certainly not a disappointment. It is well made, sturdy and spacious for my purpose. I carry a Nikon DSLR with three lenses (Nikkor 24-70, A Lensbaby and Voightlander), a grip and a flash; small charger and a couple of cables with memory cards and two extra batteries for the camera. I specially love the laptop compartment which can also house an iPad Pro 12.5, but not both. However I must admit that I have to leave the grip out because I don't feel comfortable with the bulk carrying my iPad along with everything. Another plus I like is the strap system for toting along a tripod though it makes the package a bit heavy, but, it's not too bad. The protective main compartment flap is nice, but the Velcro tab seems won't last very long as it is a bit flimsy. However the flap can be stowed away and does have a zipper.

I have a Sony A7IV with a grip along with Sony 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8 lenses to carry in this bag. I would also like to be able to have the 70-200 attached. Will this bag accommodate these requirements and in what configuration?
Asked by: Bob
You might be able to reconfigure the pouch to use this, but would be a tight fit. I attached my Canon 70-200 F2.8 to a Canon 7DII and put it in the bag. There is room for my 24-70 F2.8 and another lens. The gear would have to be handled carefully to prevent it from banging into one another.

The inside width of this bag is listed as 5..1"/12.95cm (only listed for the graphite color, for some reason). Is the thickness of the laptop compartment - 1"/2.5cm - included in that measurement. In other words, when carrying a laptop, is the space avalable for the camera 5.1" or 4.1"?
Asked by: Jean-Luc
The space available for the camera will be 4.1''. It also depends on how thick your laptop is. The case can stretch a couple of centimeters and the strap on the buckle will allow you more play connecting the top lid.

Or maybe I should also ask. The main pieces I want to carry are a Canon R with the 24-105 attached and a Canon 70-200. Would those fit? It looks like there would be enough room but I notice that says it can handle up to a 70mm attached and that made me wonder. Again thank you much.
Asked by: Bill
Your gear will fit in this bag with the 24-105mm attached or body alone but not with the 70-200 attached.
