I've owned the unit about a month and it works well. THe video is sharp and I'm told that the audio is also. I've given it 4 stars instead of 5 becasue it took me a while to get the unit to work with my Mac when running Zoom. It was not plug and play as when used with YouTube. Also note fyi, that the clip was not designed for attaching to a desktop monitor that has a hood.

I find this webcam is the perfect break-even point of quality versus cost. It does everything I want without being too expensive or having too many features. I like this model so much I've bought 2 for a hybrid work setup (1 for the office and 1 at home). The 1080p image quality is more than adequate for all of my work-related video calls. The camera seems to do well is most lighting conditions. I always feel a bit more professional when I'm using this camera compared to using a built-in webcam. The microphone quality is a huge step up from the wired headphone mic I had been using.

Very pleased with this product. After putting aside my concerns about poor product instructions, I just plugged the camera into a USB port, waited a second to two, went to Camera in the Windows popup menu clicked it and there I was on screen. Good, fast and adapted to my desktop screen easily. Didn't need instructions - just plug it in!

Unit provides a clear picture. I don't use it 24 x 7 x 365 so for the cost it will more than serve its purpose

First day, first use, the insert to screw camera into an arm/mount fell out. I was able to put it back with a bit a glue, but really a cheesy way this insert is placed into the plastic. The camera is great!

I wish I could answer your question but this camera ended up in the no use pile because it does not work with MacBook at all. If anyone wants to try to use this camera with MacBook don't waste your money! As for the low light. Have you tried a Ring light or LED wand light? Those are really good if you are shooting Vlogs etc. Sometimes you can get small ones that attach easily to nearby surfaces if you are mobile.

Will it attach to the top of a wall mounted TV? And, how does the microphone perform at a distance of 8 feet?

Yes, it will be capable of mounting to a TV with the monitor clip. The Microphone will work at 8 feet but it won't be as clear, it will pick up a lot of room at that distance. For the best audio results, an external microphone closer to you would give you a better audio experience.
