the difference is SEST8000DMA5 was replaced with SET8000DMA4 and because its still in stock once is sold out the replacement is the item SET8000DMA4 there is no different between them its manufacture changed the design everything else is same

This drive has SATA III 6 Gb/s Interface. However this is a 3.5 drive which will not fit into your Mackbook Pro unfortunately.
