The rugged metal interface is pocket-friendly and connects via the supplied Lightning, USB Type-C, and USB Type-A output cables to your iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone/tablet, or Mac/Windows computer. The lav mics feature omnidirectional polar patterns for 360° sound pickup and gold-plated locking 3.5mm output plugs to prevent accidental disconnects.

The interface's built-in mic preamps feed an onboard analog-to-digital converter, which supports resolutions up to 24-bit / 48 kHz for uncompressed audio fidelity. A 3.5mm output enables convenient signal monitoring via headphones (available separately). Since the Smart V2M is powered via its connection to your host device, it requires no batteries or charging. In addition to three output cables, the Smart V2M includes two fitted foam windscreens, two mic clips, touch fastener cable wrap, and a storage bag.
