Will this make a high-quality, lossless connection from a Rode video shotgun mic to a Camera (DSLR or Mirrorless)? Thanks!
The Saramonic SR-SC5000 is a TRRS cable meant for use with mobile devices such as smart phones; for a DSLR a TRS cable should be used instead. Lossy and lossless are terms that refer to digital file compression, so the cable will not have an impact on this.
