Saramonic UTC-XLR Reviews

Worked great until it didn't

Connected Sennheiser AVX wireless transmitter to the XLR connector and to Macbook Pro USB-C interface. Worked great and was running fine for about an hour in test. Later on connected for a second test and the device would appear and disappear alternately over and over in the Mac System Preferences Sound Input Devices. Confirmed the same on a Microsoft Laptop Pro with Windows 10. Sent back to B&H and waiting for replacement now they are back ordered.

I have a Rode NT-USB Mini microphone that has a USB Type C output. Can I use this cable to plug from the Rode mic to an external recording device like a Tascam DR-40? I know that I would need an XLR turnaround for the input to the Tascam.
Asked by: Andrew
No that would not be possible with the Rode NT-USB Mini. The Saramonic UTC-XLR has an XLR female connector, for connecting an XLR connection microphone. It does not output XLR.

Will this allow me to use my Blue Yeti USB microphone with the Rodecaster Pro?

Unfortunately the Saramonic UTC-XLR is for XLR to USB.Not USB to XLR, that's a female XLR on the cable.
