OWC ClingOn Overview

This ClingOn Guard single piece from Other World Computing helps protect USB Type-C and Thunderbolt cables from strain and unintentional disconnects. The ClingOn Guard attaches by adhesive to the device that the cable plugs into, securing right over the device's connector while sitting snug around the cable.

An interior foam lining is what ensures that it sits snug, and that's how it reduces wiggling and the chance of slipped connections. The cable can still be pulled out and plugged back in while the ClingOn is attached. The ClingOn is not a cable clamp, but it does minimize the chance of strain and disconnects, especially in cases where the connection isn't very strong. The exterior of the ClingOn is made of rigid plastic.

Shaped specifically for USB Type-C and Thunderbolt cables and connectors, the ClingOn can be attached to any device with such connectors as long as there's enough room to fix it to the device by adhesive.
