The Lee Wide Angle Double Filter Hood is a filter holder with a built-in compendium lens shade. It accepts two 4" (100mm) wide x 2mm thick filter. The self-supporting, compendium-style bellows expand to the required position without using guides or rails. This wide angle lens hood works with graduated filters in the horizontal format only. It attaches to the lens via optional adapter rings. It can be modified to function as an accessory lens hood for a standard Lee filter holder with the addition of optional Lens Hood Rails, B&H catalog #LERLH.

Will this lens hood work with the Nikkor 14-24mm lens or the Tamron 15-30mm that has a bulb front?
Asked by: Karen
I'm sorry, no, this hood is for the 100mm system and will not work with super wide lenses.

can polarizing filters be rotated in the filter ...
can polarizing filters be rotated in the filter slots?
Asked by: Al
Not the large Lee Polarizing Filter. I have a 2 slot Lee Filter with the addition of the large Lee polarizing Filter. Obviously this polarizer can be turned.
The large hood I have fits onto a 2 slot Lee ring where there is no way for the large Lee polarizer to fit, just the two rectangular filter slots.
You may be able to fit the Lee adapter ring onto a screw in polarizer filter mounted to your lens and then attach the hood and filters, but this would be cumbersome.
The best use I’ve found for this hood is to aid in keeping waterfall spray off my lens.

Has anyone used this with a large format view camera?

Yes, there are reports that this is used for large format cameras. It is suggested that you use this as an adapter to the lens. LEE Filters 100mm Push-On Filter Holder B&H # LEFK100

Can this be used without the filter holder in place? In other wirds is there a way to attach this hood without using the 2 slot filter holder?
Asked by: Louis
Lee's system is adjustable. You can remove the filter slots but the frame that holds the filter slots on one side and the adapter ring on the other side must stay attached.

What's the difference on the Medium Wide and the Wide Angle lens? I'm using Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 (IF) DX. Any suggestion or advice is greatly appreciated.
Asked by: Dennis
I shoot with a 16-55 osm 2.8 lens with the wide angle hood. It clips at 16mm (24mm ff equivalent). You would need the wide angle hood with this lens. I have a 10-24mm that cannot be used with this hood.

will this fit on canon eos 5d mark3 and which size lee filters does it take, unfortunately specs like these are hard to find?will be using over a - Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC and a EF 24-105mm f/4L
Asked by: Jonny C.
The camera is not important, only the lens. You will need a 100mm system to avoid vignetting on the 24-105. The hood will fit on the EF 24-105 f/4L with the use of a standard 77mm adapter ring. It will NOT fit the Rokinon 14mm f/2.8, this lens does not have a filter thread on the front of the lens due to its large convex front element. If you want to use filters on the Rokinon you may be able to use a larger 150mm filter system that attaches differently.

Can the hood only be purchased if I already own the Lee filter holder?
Asked by: Charles G.
It attaches to the lens via optional adapter rings, just like the Lee Filter Holder, as a standalone filter holder itself. It can also be modified to function as an accessory lens hood for a standard Lee filter holder with the addition of optional Lens Hood Rails, B&H catalog #LERLH.
