No longer metal reinforced

I purchased several of these crates back in 2021. They were very sturdy and metal reinforced. The current model (just delivered) does not have the metal bar around the top, so it feels less sturdy. One of the crates was already warped right out of the box, so the reinforcement does matter.

Just your average milk crate

I was expecting film/video industry-standard milk crates since it said they were from Backstage. But all I got was generic milk crates produced by Rehric Pacific Company. I was expecting the tops to be reinforced by metal, as is standard for professional milk crates. There is no reinforcement.

These are the real deal. The top rim is metal so you won't have any problems with these changing shape or busting for years to come. Many of the ones you see in online stores are not built the same from order to order. You can be assured that the next batch you purchase will fit and stack properly.

Really useful crates for storing heavy equipment. I've got 8 of them and I put them in two stacks of four. They're sturdy enough to put on their side and side or stand on, though watch your balance.

This create is totally passable and will most likely last me a long time however I just wish they where more in the realm of $12 and not $25

The crate is a great quality, but personally, it just doesn't have the same feel emotionally, as the ones we used to pick up around the corner.
