I really like the easy operation of this trigger. Very simple to connect my godox speedlite with my bigger godox strobe. Everything is straight to the point.

Got this device on the weekend, it was working well with the 1.1 firmware as soon as I updated it from 1.1 to 1.4 the trigger stopped working I kept mashing buttons..., NOTHING it was a dead piece of equipment so I put it back in the box and planning on making a return and invest on purchasing Canon speedlite flashes instead, since I have Canon camera gear, I'm in the minority when I say this but Godox as a company needs to do a better job with their website, their items, software and firmware, and most importantly their customer service because I've had the hardest time with their products.

Stay Behind the Camera

I use it to control all aspects of (3) Godox Strobes from behind the camera, including independent control of power on/off. Make quick selection with top buttons to control lights independently or in groups including Manual, TTL and power, that is easy to see from the LCD Display.

Please see my review of the X1R receiver for details. I controlled three Nikon speed lights in TTL and manual. This included a Z9, Z7ii and Z6 with an SB-900, SB-600 and SB-400. Godox firmware was version 1.1.

Great functionality!

I purchased this flash trigger to use on my Sony a7iii, and it's my first time using off camera flash. The trigger has all of functionality I could think of needing, and have had no issue setting up and syncing everything together. Battery life seems to be great! Only downside is how incredibly tight the mount is, it can be so difficult to get off the camera and I feel like I'm going to break it. Otherwise great product!

it works! Just be prepared, it is a little fragile

Hi! I am a wedding photographer since 2018 and I have used these triggers for OCF photography while having a SB5000 with Magmod diffuser attachments on it. I have purchased 6 of these, and two of the 6 have broken due to having the SB5000 on top of it at wedding receptions. I can be quite rough with it sometimes, and the wear and tear is expected. I love them because you can ATTACH a flash on top on it to trigger the other flashes off the camera. It's very easy to use. Just know they are fragile!

Asked by: Thunderbulll
The Godox TT520 does not have a built in receiver, so it cannot be fired with the Godox X2T-C. However, the flash can be used on the hotshoe of the X2T-C to use in conjunction with another Godox flash off camera with an X series receiver.

Asked by: Wayne
With latest firmware for trigger and cameras as of 3/30/2022, the Godox X2T-c works well with the Canon R5 and R6. I'm using this trigger with Godox AD200 Pro strobes in both manual and ETTL. The Canon flash menu system even mirrors that of the Godox trigger with the ability to control groups A-E separately.

No, the Godox X2 2.4 GHz TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Canon is not compatible on the R50. The R50 has no standard pins. It might work when used with the Canon AD-E1 Multi-Function Shoe Adapter, https://bhpho.to/3z4xSjE.
