Gabor FM-LP Reviews
May not work for you as designed
This mount was designed to be slim, and it is the cheapest you can find for these display sizes. However it is not very well designed: 1. The outer holes are slightly under 32 inches, which means that the outer screws will be off-center on the outer studs. If your studs are slightly farther than 32 (no construction is perfect), you may split the wood on those studs or be unable to screw it at all. The manufacturer should have made the horizontal rail 1-2 wider to accommodate for lower tolerances. 2. The rail is narrow and has a slightly curved profile on the back. As a result it's difficult to control its angle, which is important in combination with the next point. Having a rectangular mount (like the tiltable mounts have) would have eliminated this problem, as well as distributed the weight over twice as many screws. 3. The display needs to be tilted upwards during installation in order to snap onto the rail. For displays that big (85 in my case), there is a high chance that the top of the display will bump into the wall preventing you from doing that. There are multiple variables that come into play here: which holes are used to screw the vertical pieces into the display; the location of the screw holes on the display relative to its top edge; how flat is the wall; the angle that the rail ended up being relative to the wall; how much the display tapers at the top. Perhaps under ideal conditions this mount can theoretically accommodate the advertised 90 display size. However, I had to place shims between the wall and the rail to outset it by 1/4 and give it a ~5 degree tilt. A better designed bracket would have a mechanism that latches by transnational movement only, without the need for tilting the display.
Low profile and sturdy
It does its job. I used it for a Sony 55 A8H. My two gripes are that I had to get some 16mm M6 screws (the included 12mm were on the short side and the 30mm were too long) and that the screws attaching it to the wall got stripped a little too easily during the install. But in the end it all looks good and it holds the TV securely.
