One hybrid aspherical element is featured in the optical design to control spherical aberrations for improved clarity and sharpness throughout the aperture range.
An Ultra Multi-Coating has been applied to individual elements to minimize ghosting and flare for increased contrast and color neutrality when working in strong lighting conditions.

How this lens compares with the Canon EF version? It looks like EF lens + adapter is lighter than the RF lens. EF + adapter length is the same as the RF length.
Asked by: Oldrin
They have the same number of lens elements and lens groups. They have the same number of diaphragm blades. They have the same coatings. They are both manual focus and both don't have image stabilization. It is the same lens, the RF mount just has the adapter built in.

Can the Nikon Z6 meter with this lens when setup as a non-CPU lens? if so, what camera settings are recommended?

This lens is completely manual. As you set the aperture on the lens barrel, you will see the exposure go darker or lighter in the EVF. The camera must be in manual exposure mode for proper use.
