HPRC SM19-2730W-01 Reviews
Good fit and protection but probably will need customizing
I'm happy with the fit of the monitor with the feet still on it and a VESA bracket on the back with the foam as manufactured... with some slight tweaks. First is that the rounded finger cutouts seem like a good plan but the yellow hard plastic label on top is cut to 4 points between the finger slots that scraped and sliced my hands up from the very first time I dropped the monitor in. Not a big deal to fix - cut off the points and put some gaffers tape over it to make it smooth, but it begs the question... did anybody ever test this? I didn't need semi-circles that gave the visual of put your fingers here when there was nowhere else to hold it, a simple rectangular slot would have been a much better (less painful) choice. The rest of the slots are probably only going to fit certain accessories and will need to be cut or filled with extra padding for your particular items to add, but that's to be expected and not a flaw of their design. I was even able to squeeze a Ninja Inferno in one of the spaces, that opened up a slot in another of my cases, so in general I'm happy with the storage options aside from the monitor itself. Everything else seems to be made well and effective. Glad I bought it.
Almost there
We bought three of it for the three sumo monitors we own. After putting the butterfly battery plate at the back of the sumo with the battery plates. the monitor doesn't sit well in to the box, the plates hits the cut out compartments. It will only fit perfect if you don't put any battery plates at the back of the Sumo. However it will still close with a big of a push. All the money spent to have laser cut foam is a waste when you add the battery plates. Please re do the laser cuts
