The ModMic Wireless Microphone by Antlion Audio is an attachable microphone that turns your headphones into a headset. The mic attaches with a magnet so that you can easily remove it from your headphones. It transmits the audio signal to the included proprietary USB Type-A receiver, and it provides a dual mic mode that toggles between a unidirectional and an omnidirectional microphone.

The ModMic Wireless is ideal for gamers or streamers and used with applications such as Skype, Hangouts, Discord, and more. A mute button lets you instantly mute and unmute the microphone as you wish. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, and PlayStation 4 (not compatible with Xbox 1). The ModMic Wireless can attach to your existing over-ear or on-ear headphones.

Great product and very reliable. My cloud hyper x2 has served me really well so far, but I was moving to university and needed a wireless headset. Tried bose 700 and quiet comfort too but wireless headphones' inbuilt mic when activated messes both with the input and output sound quality for some reason. This beaitiful antlion product gave me the opportunity to enjoy the sound quality while having a great mic too. It does sound a bit low sometimes but you can install peace/apo and jack up the decibels a little bit without sacrificing too much quality. 5/5 in my books. Hopefully its durable and lasts me at least 2 years.

This is the first Antlion mic and this device makes my life so much easier for meetings while working from home. I paired these with my Sennheiser headphones and what a wonder combo it is. The setup was insanely simple and user friendliness of the device is very well thought out. I recommend this mic to anyone in the market!

Great sound quality, controls a bit consumer-y

This mic sounds amazing, particularly for its price, and the low latency is incredible. The only thing to be cautious of - one button both turns it on and off, mutes and unmutes, and sets up pairing mode. It can be tricky to hold it down for the correct length of time when turning on and off, and the button is not super tactile. Not exactly a professional-grade mute switch. But it does the job well enough for someone starting out who doesn't want to spend a ton of money.

As a microphone it works amazing in providing good quality audio input. Installation is a breeze. But 1) I cannot pair it with a bluetooth phone, but im willing to overlook this for the quality audio. It still may be a turn off for some. 2) The 1 button it has to turn on, unpair, mute, and turn off is a bit of a pain. I keep wanting to turn off the mic only to end up unpairing and I have to re-pair the mic to the receiver. It may take some getting used to. Overall though im satisfied with the product. I love the quality and the features of the microphone. Adding more than one button can improve the product.

Connectivity to smartphone

Could be improved by having connectivity to smartphone implemented and a timout for disconnect to preserve battery. Price is a little high otherwise. Neverthless, this has good audio quality than any built-in mic associated with a heafset.
