Teradek RT CTRL.3 Overview

Wirelessly control your lens focus, iris, or zoom with this Teradek CTRL.3 Motor Wireless Lens Control Deluxe 1-Motor Kit. The kit includes a CTRL.3 wireless lens controller, an MDR-X wireless receiver, a MOTR.X super-speed brushless lens motor, LP-E6 batteries and a charger, a 19/15mm rod clamp, one iris overlay mapping disk, five focus overlay mapping disks calibrated in feet, five focus overlay mapping disks calibrated in meters, five extra white marking disks for the controller, and a controller neck strap, as well as motor, controller, USB, and power cables. A vinyl zipper bag is included for your accessories, and a hard-shell case with custom foam is also included to carry the entire kit.

Connect the 0.8 MOD lens gear motor to your lens, mount it on a 19 or 15mm rod system, and then connect the wireless receiver to the motor using the included cables. Each MOTR.X super-speed motor features six times the service life of brushed motors and has higher torque and speed compared to previous models. The MDR.X receiver can control up to three lens motors for 3-axis focus, iris, zoom control, and includes RED camera support.

The CTRL.3 controller can then connect and finely control either the focus, iris, or zoom from up to 5000' away. It is powered by the included LP-E6 batteries, and can also connect to the motor with the included controller cable for a wired setup.

The overlay marking disks are automatically calibrated in feet and meters with the included lens mapping firmware license, and extra white marking disks are included for manual marking. The firmware can also pair with a SmallHD monitor using the included cables and can display lens data directly onto the monitor. Read more below about the items included in this kit.

Teradek RT MOTR.X Brushless Lens Motor

Use the Teradek RT MOTR.X Brushless Lens Motor with Teradek RT series receivers and controllers to control your focus, iris, or zoom with its super-speed, high-torque design. The motor comes with a standard 0.8 MOD cine gear which can be swapped out for different-size, separately available gears. Its durable aluminum design helps it prevent damage in the field.

The MOTR.X features one input and one output motor control port, and it can be daisy-chained with other MOTR.X motors to limit the need for additional cabling. The ultra-quiet motor's 3Nm torque allows you to control your lens with ease and speed at up to 6.2 revolutions per second. The built-in rod clamp supports mounting on 15 or 19mm rods.
