Really Right Stuff L85 Overview

The L85 Multiuse Fore-Aft Plate from Really Right Stuff is an Arca-type compatible quick release plate, designed for camera bodies and collared telephoto lenses. The plate attaches to a lens foot via a 1/4"-20 screw.

The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate has a black anodized type II finish, and an anti-twist flange prevents any movement between the plate and lens foot. Located on the bottom of the plate are two safety stop screws that can be used to help prevent any accidental release from a clamp.

Yes, you can attach the Spider clip to the bottom of the RRS plate, as it has 1/4-20" threading.

This plate is Arca-compatible; the Manfrotto Nitro heads are only compatible with Manfrotto plates, not Arca plates.So, this plate is not compatible with any Manfrotto Nitro head.

Yes, the Really Right Stuff L85 Multiuse Fore-Aft Plate with 1/4"-20 Screw will work on the foot of the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens. This will allow for a stable setup on an RRS head.
