Designed for audio and video professionals, content creators, and hardware and software manufacturers, the HDX Pro USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C External Hard Drive Enclosure from Oyen Digital uses two individual chipsets to provide a professional-grade product within a compact form factor. It has one 3.5" SATA III 6 Gb/s drive bay and connects to your host system using a 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, which is also known as USB 3.1. If your system doesn't have a USB Type-C port, the HDX Pro will work with 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3, 5 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 (USB 3.0), and 480 Mb/s USB 2.0, but will not work with Thunderbolt 2 using an adapter. Using a second USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, up to five additional USB devices can be daisy-chained together and 15W of power is available for connected peripherals. A built-in fan operates quietly and helps the enclosure stay cool, while an internal power supply eliminates the need for a wall adapter. Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux, the HDX Pro includes a 3' USB Type-C to Type-C cable, a 3' USB Type-C to Type-A cable, a power cable, and a vertical stand.
