PRomptBox PRBOX4UAPRO Overview

  • 1Description

The PRomptBox Compact Mobile Teleprompter is a portable thru-the-lens teleprompter for 7 to 9" iPads and tablets, as well as for smartphones via an included adapter. It's designed for use with small to mid-size cameras/camcorders and can be mounted on a tripod, jib arm, or dolly to create cinematic moving shots. This prompter features a 65/35 beamsplitter glass in a hard-sided matte box design instead of the traditional teleprompter hood. This design prevents light from leaking or flaring your image. Compatible tablets include the iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro 9.7".

Featuring a 1/4"-20 mounting access located in the frame base, the Compact Mobile Teleprompter is designed to accommodate tripod quick release plates, rails, and various other production bases. It's compatible with any camera plate that has a removable 1/4"-20 camera screw. The lens opening supports lenses with a front outer diameter up to 98mm. A proprietary mounting bracket is included for mounting on a single tripod. No tools are required for assembly.

Key Features

Supports 7 to 9" tablets, including the iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro 9.7".
Provides access to power tablet devices from either side of the prompter without compromising light.
The Compact Mobile Teleprompter is compatible with any mounting plate that has a removable 1/4"-20 threaded screw. The screw must be removed and then inserted from underneath the prompter, so that the prompter sandwiches in between the screw and mounting plate. With the plate attached, the prompter can be mounted on a variety of stationary and movable support gear, such as jibs and dollies.
The hard-sided matte box design enables using the prompter outdoors without the ambient light degrading your image.
