Freewell FW-SNY-X3000 Overview

The Standard Day 4-Filter Set for Sony FDR-X3000 Action Camera from Freewell includes an ND4, ND8, ND16, and PL filter, all featuring multi-coated glass and an aluminum frame. The filters have an efficient snap-on attachment system and mount directly on the standard waterproof housing of the camera.

The ND filters block the amount of light reaching the camera sensor in sunny outdoor conditions. This allows you to shoot without having to significantly close the aperture and increase your shutter speed to compensate for the brightness. You can use large apertures without overexposing the image and slow shutter speeds to achieve cinematic motion blur. The ND4 filter cuts light by two f-stops, the ND8 by three f-stops, and the ND16 by four f-stops, for different outdoor brightness levels. The PL filter helps minimize glare from outdoor reflective surfaces such as large windows and bodies of water.
