How well do this hold up with inclement weather if used outside in the freezing cold or in the rain?
Asked by: Chuck
I contacted GVM regarding your inquiry. The GVM 560AS Bi-Color LED 2-Panel Kit, B&H # GVM560AS2L, is not is weather-sealed for outdoor use or in inclement weather. It is not recommend to use the light unit in extreme heat / cold temperatures environment. According to GVM, the operating range for the 560AS LED panels with lithium-ion batteries to perform optimally (and will last longer) if they are kept at temperatures between -10°C and +50°C. However, do note that for outdoor usage, the units require a pair of SONY NPF-750/770 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which usually have a recommended ambient temperature operating range from 50°F to 86°F (10°C to 30°C), so while they can be used outside of this range, they often may not have great performance in extreme cold or extreme heat.

Does the lights come with a power cable? and if so, what type is it. I'm from NZ and so will it will compatible?
Asked by: Taylor
Yes, the lights in the GVM 560AS Bi-Color LED Studio Video 2-Panel Light Kit includes an AC power cable for each light fixture designed for use on 130 VAC / 60 Hz AC household voltage, and has a Type A/B plug for use in the United States. It would not be compatible for use in New Zealand, which uses Type I plugs and which use 230 VAC / 50 Hz AC current.

Is the 560AS brighter then the 800D in white mode? The RGB addition is great but don't want to lose that brightness if the 800D is less bright then the 800D. I hope I'm asking it correctly, thank you!
Asked by: Joaquin
The 560AS will be brighter in the 800D you are dividing the output between 4 channels.

Do these come with the stands? Some photos have them and others do not.
Asked by: Steve
Yes, this kit comes with 2 stands. I might add the stands aren't the highest quality. They are a little flimsy. They aren't awful but I did invest in a different set of stands after I purchased this kit.

Does anyone know the R9 value at the top and bottom of the temperature range?
Asked by: John
Not sure about R9 value, but the color temp goes from 2300K to 6800K. Although there's a noticeable jump between 23 to 24. Other than that, really good durable lights that I've had for about 2 years and used on video and photo shoots.
