I hinted around to my fiance that I wanted some lights for my video setup and he gifted me with these. I'm impressed so far. The build quality of these lights are nice. The tripod stands feels very sturdy. Came with a carry case that is very light but durable. I cant wait to use them on my next project. Im excited!!!

I purchased this item for work and it's served us well in both indoor and outdoor settings. I even used the set to illuminate a choir at an outdoor event this winter and it worked wonderfully. I also love the option of being able to use batteries or plug them in to power.

Great little lights, bad stands, worse bluetooth.

It's so much easier toting a couple of panel lights around than strobe-style LED's. I have one of these mounted to the ceiling of my studio for ad-hoc video setups. But the app and bluetooth operation lacks severely. Why sell two lights if I have to constantly reconnect in order to control both of them? I would prefer it just had a wireless remote where I can set both to one channel and control them simultaneously or on different channels to control them independently. The stands they come with are just about pointless.

Awesome lights especially for beginners.

Lights work great for photo and video. You get more than your money's worth out of these. Used them for a couple night shoots and they're wonderful.

These work great

Love the optional battery power if needed. I just ordered the GVM Softbox's to go with it.

Nice kit for the money

The quality of the light is not all the way there, it casts a reddish hue on skin tones depending on the light temperature selected, but for the price it does a good job.

Solid Continuous Video Lights

Solidly constructed panels, I use these for continuous video lights. I think these are the fourth lights I've tried & they are definitely more durable. No issues with switches or leds failing like I've had with other similarly priced lights. Color temperature adjustment is useful, but overall just happy that these haven't started to fall apart after two years of steady (average 12 hrs a week) use.

Very happy with this product

Can I use a direct 240v adapter on these lights ?

These lights require a 110-130AC, 60Hz input. As long as your adapter can do the Hz as well as the voltage you should be ok.

Is the package weight in pounds?

Is the package weight in pounds?
Asked by: Lucho
That's what lbs means. Lbs is the abbreviation that comes from the Latin Libra, and the zodiac sign Libra, or the scales for measurement of weight. Libra translates as pound in Spanish and is considered the avoirdupois scale of weight measurement, compared to grams which are the decimal. Anyway the three light kit with stands and cords weighs 24 pounds (lbs.) or about 10 kilos. It is not heavy, due to the plastic light housing, not metal housing. They worked well for me on dozens of shoots where I had to set up a portable studio in various settings with the LED lights for key and fill for a two-shot in front of a green screen uplit by two fluorescent tubes. The adjustable intensity and color temperature was great, and if you buy the larger size lights you will be very satisfied with the lighting ability, the portability and the price.

The posting doesn't adequately show the lumens of the lights. What are they?
Asked by: Stephen
General answer: My very rough guess is that each of these lights outputs around 2600 lumens. That's based on a power draw of 30 watts and a comparison with the Nanlite LumiPad 25, which claims an output of 2140 lumens with a power consumption of 25 watts. It's also in rough agreement with what B&H's Reuben said in his response, given that tungsten lamps tend to produce about 15 lumens per watt.

Asked by: Hey
Three to four pounds depending on whether you attach batteries or not. Worked fo rme, nice to adjust light color and intensity, 3000-5600K, used two for key lights and one for fill for two-shot with back fill on green screen. Nice and light lights, come with nifty velour bag that holds light and power cable. Jules Verne

Will these adequately light a 10' X 12' green screen?
Asked by: David
It will depend on camera settings and if you have the space to pull them far enough back for even spread and falloff. It will also be a matter of what lights are being used for the subject in order to have balance.
