Can I use a direct 240v adapter on these lights ?
Asked by: robinson
These lights require a 110-130AC, 60Hz input. As long as your adapter can do the Hz as well as the voltage you should be ok.

Is the package weight in pounds?

Is the package weight in pounds?
Asked by: Lucho
That's what lbs means. Lbs is the abbreviation that comes from the Latin Libra, and the zodiac sign Libra, or the scales for measurement of weight. Libra translates as pound in Spanish and is considered the avoirdupois scale of weight measurement, compared to grams which are the decimal. Anyway the three light kit with stands and cords weighs 24 pounds (lbs.) or about 10 kilos. It is not heavy, due to the plastic light housing, not metal housing. They worked well for me on dozens of shoots where I had to set up a portable studio in various settings with the LED lights for key and fill for a two-shot in front of a green screen uplit by two fluorescent tubes. The adjustable intensity and color temperature was great, and if you buy the larger size lights you will be very satisfied with the lighting ability, the portability and the price.

The posting doesn't adequately show the lumens of the lights. What are they?
Asked by: Stephen
General answer: My very rough guess is that each of these lights outputs around 2600 lumens. That's based on a power draw of 30 watts and a comparison with the Nanlite LumiPad 25, which claims an output of 2140 lumens with a power consumption of 25 watts. It's also in rough agreement with what B&H's Reuben said in his response, given that tungsten lamps tend to produce about 15 lumens per watt.

How heavy is each light without the stand? Weight please.
Asked by: Hey
Three to four pounds depending on whether you attach batteries or not. Worked fo rme, nice to adjust light color and intensity, 3000-5600K, used two for key lights and one for fill for two-shot with back fill on green screen. Nice and light lights, come with nifty velour bag that holds light and power cable. Jules Verne
