For webinars, one subject indoor interviews, product lighting, and more, these are great. AC or battery power, easy to pack.

The light is great but Nanlite is dropping the ball

So the light itself as a lot of reviewers have said is a small powerful soft light source that is perfect for those talking head setups you need to throw up for interviews in a flash. You can even use a remote with them but these are not powerful enough to be positioned far away for it to matter as much. Unlike their bigger brother but yet has no remote capabilities. So for the money (i hate saying that) and for the size and capabilities this light won't disappoint. However, what will disappoint is the lack of modifiers for something you would think they would have since they do with other lights of the exact same size. Yet, they don't work with each other. For example barn doors are available for the Lumipad 11C but not the Lumipad 11 which is the same size. But the barn doors on the 11C don't snap on or click on like you would think so they can be used with other Lumipads of the same size. No, it is a screw in. I'm talking major big screws to put on barn doors for a 7 light. The LumiPad 25 (which doesn't have remote capabilities) the bigger brother of the 11 and 11c has no barn doors but does have a grid which fits on like a tight sock. That's it. So if they have one for the other why not just make them available for the whole product line? I guess i'm complaining for the simple fact they almost have perfect line of pro consumer lights and i really want to have my cake and eat it as well. All their lights are great. They just lack those few little details like no remote capabilities in the larger light that would naturally be far away from you built do have it in their on-camera lights? nalite take note. Complete your product line and you'll have the perfect Aperture killer line-up.

A life-saver for on-the-go headshot sessions. Better than OFC or big clunky light setups. Tiny & powerful.

Works really well but I do wish it came with the power cord or battery. I still give it 5 stars though.

Good light. I purchased several of them for lighting with webcasting such as zoom. I have them set to the dimmest light, which is sufficient for zoom and other webcasts. It produces an even distribution of light.

I use this to illuminate foreground objects for nightScapes. It goes super low level which is perfect. Then I can turn it up for a wonderful light to get back to the car.
