The Bebob Amicro Battery Adapter for 15mm Rods attaches a micro or standard-size Gold mount battery to your camera rig, connecting to the camera via a D-Tap output and offering three key features that provide a lot of flexibility. The robust adapter, made mainly of aluminum, allows vertical and horizontal battery attachment, gives you two proprietary Twist D-Tap ports, and lets you screw in the included rod mount on the top or bottom.
The compact form of the adapter is designed to match the size of micro Gold mount batteries but will also support full-size batteries, both from Bebob and other brands.
Vertical/Horizontal Battery Attachment
The included battery plate can be adjusted into a vertical or horizontal position so your battery can be attached upright or sideways, providing additional flexibility when setting up your camera rig.
Two Twist D-Tap Ports
The battery plate has two rainproof D-Tap outputs but not standard ones. It has Bebob 3-pin Twist D-Tap ports instead of regular 2-pin ports. These proprietary connectors have an alternative design that lets you decide which side you want your D-Tap cable to hang from. These ports still support regular 2-pin D-Tap cables, but you can plug in your cable to the left-side two pins or rotate it and connect it to the right-side two pins, depending on whether you want the cable facing towards the right or left side of the battery.
Rod Mount
The included rod mount is compatible with industry-standard 15mm LWS rods and can be screwed into the top or bottom of the adapter, allowing you to mount your battery hanging under your shoulder, above your shoulder, or in various other ways.
Connection to Camera
The battery plate connects to your camera via one of the Twist D-Tap outputs. An optional D-Tap cable is required with an appropriate connector for your camera on the other end.
Robust Construction
The attached battery plate is made of plastic (except for the battery mount), and the rest of the adapter is aluminum, providing a durable solution.
