Can this receiver output both analog and digital sources to Zone2 Pre out for playing on external powered speakers? This question is not about subwoofers. Other receivers can output to their analog Pre Outs only analog sources connected to receiver. No HDMI or optical audio can be played.
The PRE Out on this A/V receiver would give you he same source as what is selected for the surround output. This unit does not have a second zone.

Does this unit have aptx and aptxLL? Pertains to sound delay of movies.
No, aptx is not supported. While aptx and aptx low latency pertain to sound delay, this only pertains to Bluetooth transmission. Bluetooth is not recommended for video sources, hard-wired audio and video connections would be best and would work with lower latency than even aptXLL can provide.

Yes, this unit would be backward compatible with older HDMI devices. As long as the TV is also 3D capable this receiver can pass the signal through.
