Blanket your office in wireless coverage with the Orbi Pro AC3000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi System from Netgear. Capable of up to 3 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughput, this tri-band system includes an Orbi Pro router and two satellite units that work together to create a single wireless network with a range up to 5000 ft2. Each unit comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet ports.

Multi-user MIMO technology allows for multiple simultaneous data streams, while beamforming technology lets the router and satellites focus their Wi-Fi signals on nearby wireless devices. A guest network makes it easy to securely share your Wi-Fi with visitors, while the captive portal helps to authenticate guest users. You can mount both the router and the satellites on a wall or ceiling, and mounting gear is included.

Wire-Free Installation

No need to run cables. Power up the Orbi Pro Satellites and they will automatically connect to the Orbi Pro Router.

Performance

The Orbi Pro AC3000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi System is designed to deliver reliable Wi-Fi at a range up to 5000 ft2 with optimized simultaneous connections for up to 40 users, courtesy of multi-user MIMO technology.

FastLane3 Technology

A dedicated 5 GHz band provides a stable connection between your router and the satellite.

Separate Guest User Access

Orbi Pro comes with three predefined networks with traffic isolation for the network owner/administrator, employees, and customers. A customizable captive portal makes it easy to authenticate guest users.

Location Flexibility

The router and satellites can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall or ceiling. Wall and ceiling mounts are included.

Easy Setup & Configuration

Available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, the Netgear Insight app lets you set up and manage your Orbi Pro Wi-Fi system.

Works Well, Confusing Setup

If you're an IT pro, then setup is probably a no-brainer. I'm not, and I'm still not sure I have it set up correctly. It seems you need to use both the web interface to the router and the app to set up different parts. But it appears from the web interface that the router and satellite are both connected to various devices and I'm definitely getting better coverage that with my previous AC1900 router. And it's great to have 3 independent networks available, one dedicated for IOT devices.

An elegant solution to a common problem

We were streaming our Sunday church services using an old standalone WAP and were having loads of drop outs and other issues. After doing research on line and careful measurement of the facilities, a mesh network with a main and two satellites was the ideal, cost effective solution. The Orbi Pro AC3000 gave us the granular control we needed to observe and manage our internet traffic. With a direct connection to our Comcast Business-class service, the Orbi speed test indicated 500mbps between the main unit and a management node. I was impressed enough to by a main and single remote for my home, too. If you need a business class product and have the network knowledge to configure it properly, this is a cost-effective solution to improve access without having to run a lot of network cable.

Does what I need it to reliably.

Setup was reasonably straightforward. Interface was ok and configuration was easy enough (I set it up in AP mode so I could bridge my two home networks). Reception is good on the satellite unit which is in an upstairs bedroom where i have my laptops and a photo printer - this setup needed the extra bandwidth to print reliably over wifi. This did the trick although the signal is not as strong as I had hoped - good, not excellent according to the router. The web page for the router kept on being sent to a Netgear web page over the internet rather than connecting to the router. I tried clearing the browser cache (as suggested) but that didn't work. Shutting down the browser and restarting it worked for some reason (as did starting a different browser and going to the web page - interface connectivity seems a bit flakey and confused. But it is all working great and I have regained communication with the router device web page, so all is well. Many devices that are attached via wifi to the service provider wifi network (for which this is acting as an AP) show up as wired (e.g. phones, Apple TVs, TVs, etc.)? I haven't tried playing with many of the available options yet - letting it settle-in in working condition first. It repots much higher throughput on its Speedtest than does the one I run on my mac - same network. ???

This router replaced my old Asus RT-AC68U which I had for at least 7 years and was working fine until somehow the reach wasn't the same anymore. I installed this Netgear Orbi system and now there is no dead spot in my house for my WiFi. I placed one near the front of my house and the other one near the back and it covers every inch of my house even out to my garage. Setup was ok, I can't say it was the easiest nor the hardest. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchased.

Great for extending coverage to detached studio

Setup: -1300 SQ FT home made of Stucco (aka very hard for wireless signals to go through) -Detached Studio on back of lot converted to office. Problems: IP phone in the studio could not get a stable connection through a wireless adapter - the latency was too high for it to be stable and calls would drop, if it would connect at all. While doing yard work - phone would lose connection to the pre-existing wireless router and switch over to using mobile data. --- This router solved the problems - the satellite in the studio uses the fast backhaul link to the router and creates a VERY stable and low latency connection. I'm able to connect a picky IP phone to it with no connection drops. Can do yard work around the house / sidewalk with no connection issues. If you are looking for easy setup - make sure you upgrade to the latest firmware before anything else. At first: Set up the satellite and router connection in the same building to make sure there is a stable connection between satellite and router - after that you can move it as you need it and save the hassle. ---- If you are looking for enterprise level features at this price: look elsewhere - this is perfect for smaller (sub 15 people) offices. This will not replace an enterprise level Cisco wireless network, nor should it. This is all flat network with some additional SSIDs. Worth every penny!

They work fairly well!

I used these to replace my single Xfinity Fiber Router with WiFi, since the house I live in has added rooms beyond the old outside wall which appears to be hard to send a signal through. This Mesh system has resolved my issues with getting a good signal to the back of the house. Was a good purchase, and easy to set up.

Best for the family of 5

We have 3 gamers, 2 streamers, a million Alexa devices and a long house. This router along with a satellite to carry over to the other side of the house WORKS FLAWLESSLY for us. I know this was meant for business but we purchased this for our home in which I run a business out of..WIN WIN.

This is a router with 2 mesh points included, there is no built in modem. You would still need a modem either from your ISP or you can purchase one like this : NECM500100NA just as an example.

Dedicated WiFi band between router and satellite frees up the other two bands for maximum speed to your devices. Optional wired Ethernet backhaul for even faster speed.

The Netgear Orbi Pro uses an AC to DC power adapter, the input is rated 110 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. It does have a USA type wall plug adapter (US models). It should work fine in locations that use 220VAC 50Hz (e.g. UK)
