Lensbaby is known for producing unique and special optical effects, and with the OMNI Creative Filter System, they have created a fun and practical way to shoot through objects in order to create colorful flare, reflections, and bright, ethereal light streaks. Differing from a creative lens, the OMNI system is a method for placing objects, such as crystals, films, and other translucent substrates, in front of your lens to produce distinct effects. Additionally, by having these objects attached to the front of your lens, instead of hand-holding them, you can achieve more repeatable and predictable results.

Yes, works with any lens as long as the adapter rings are compatible sizes to your lens/lenses.

Can it be used with a lens with 46mm filter thread if I buy a step up ring ?
Yes, a 46mm to 58mm or to one of the included rings (49, 52, and 55) will work. If you're thinking of using it on a Lensbaby optic, they don't recommend that because of the weight of the Omni system.
