Stay productive while you're out and about with the 14" Latitude 7400 2-in-1 Laptop from Dell. Powered by a quad-core Intel Core i5-8265U processor, the Latitude 7400 2-in-1 comes with 8GB of soldered LPDDR3 RAM, a 256GB solid-state drive, a 14" 1920 x 1080 touchscreen LCD, and an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 core.

The Latitude 7400's 2-in-1 design lets you lay the laptop completely flat, tent it on a desktop, or swivel the display all the way around for tablet use. A pair of Thunderbolt 3 ports allow for speedy connections to Thunderbolt 3-equipped devices, while two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you connect the laptop to compatible USB peripherals. You can also connect a supported external monitor using the HDMI port. Wi-Fi 5 support allows for wirelessly connecting to the internet, while Bluetooth 5.0 lets the laptop connect to nearby Bluetooth devices.

A proximity sensor wakes the laptop when it senses you're near and wakes your system, ideal for using the infrared camera to quickly sign in to Windows.

Windows 10 Pro is the installed operating system.

Forget Your Password

Enabled by Intel Context Sensing Technology, Dell ExpressSign-in is a proximity sensor that detects your presence and automatically wakes your system. You can then sign in to Windows using the infrared camera and Windows Hello, all in without lifting a finger.

See more of your work with the drop-hinge design. It lowers the height of the screen for a 4-sided narrow bezel that's 25% thinner than the Latitude 7390 2-in-1. Plus, you can get going quickly by lifting the panel with one hand.

Aluminum Finish

The laptop features a machined aluminum finish and edge-to-edge Gorilla Glass 5. Dell's Super Low Power panel is designed to optimize your viewing experience without draining your battery, while the anti-reflective, anti-smudge coating lets you see your screen in any light.

Optimized Screen Real Estate

The Latitude 7400 2-in-1 delivers a 14" FHD display in a 13" chassis.

2-in-1 Design

This 2-in-1 convertible supports four different modes for productivity at any angle.

Enhanced Battery Life

Stay up and running over multiple work days with up to 26 hours and 46 minutes of battery life. The laptop also supports Dell ExpressCharge, which charges your PC up to 80% in an hour.

Manage all of your Windows 10 endpoints from one console with Dell Client Command Suite and VMware Workspace ONE integration.

Remote Management

Dell vPro extensions can remotely manage and run diagnostics on a fleet of devices, whether they are powered on or off.

Cooling Features

With Adaptive Thermal Performance, the Latitude 7400 2-in-1 senses its environment and adjusts performance to control the temperature accordingly. It also features ultra-thin GORE Thermal Insulation, which provides thermal conductivity levels lower than air.

Start Menu

After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.

Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.

Microsoft Edge

After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.

Windows Store

For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.

Windows Continuum

Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.

Xbox on Windows 10

Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.

Windows 10 Pro

The Pro version of Windows 10 includes all of the features of Windows 10 Home plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access. Devices will also be able to join domains and the Azure Active Directory, and they can even access a specialized version of the Windows Store featuring custom, company-specific applications.
