If one were buying this as a kit would it be better to get the 18-45 pz or the 18-55 lens? This coming from a beginning photographer who wants into the fuji system.
Asked by: Howaed
The Fujifilm XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS lens would be the better option with improved image quality, a brighter aperture, and offering full-time autofocus capability. It is larger and slightly heavier in weight, but it would be the better option. That being said, if you are on a budget, the FUJIFILM XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Lens is still a good option, and both lenses would be compatible and would be standard zoom lenses for typical everyday usage needs.

Will this support tethered capture? I’m torn between this and the X-T3, but would like to keep the smaller form factor if it supports tethering.
Asked by: Jeffrey
The X-T30 does not tether to the best of our knowledge.

If I wanted to take it out and shoot in the cold let’s say below 32, would there be an alternative so the camera doesn’t freeze?
Asked by: Adam
Saw a video on Fuji XT 3 in Canada at -11F. It lasted about 2 hours with 3 batteries depleted. The Fuji XT 30 @ 32F should last longer. It’s really about the batteries, not the camera. Keep the camera under your coat until you are ready to shoot, and the extra batteries in your pants pocket.

Will UHS-II cards work with this camera?
Asked by: chris
Yes, UHS-II SD cards are compatible with the XT30, but the camera will not use all of that speed. The XT30 will top out at UHS-I speeds.
