Elvid's Slim SDI Cable RG-179, 1' in length, is designed to carry up to 12 Gb/s data rates to support uncompressed UHD 4K video signals. At the same time it's suitable as a solution for studio patching applications.

The cable features low-profile, locking BNC connectors that offer a trustworthy connection between a camera and video peripheral such as a monitor, external recorder, or switcher. Due to its slim diameter and durable FEP jacket, the cable is flexible enough to rout around gear without tangling or knotting for a clutter-free camera rig, patch bay, or machine rack. Molded strain relief secures the critical point between the cable and connector and assures a trouble-free signal transfer, even if there's a tug or strain on the cable.
