The Meopta 4.5-27x50 MeoPro Optika 6 RD FFP Riflescope combines a powerful and broad zoom magnification range with a versatile reticle design and easy-to-use turrets to produce a scope that is optimized for long-range shooting and hunting in all light conditions.
Its zoom range allows you to scan wide swaths of the terrain for targets on low power with the ability to dial it up and make positive identification with precise shot placement across vast distances. A large objective lens provides the light gathering required to keep views crisp and bright when viewing targets at extreme long range on maximum magnification, and to enhance the view Meopta employs their proprietary MeoBright multi-coatings to the lenses to maximize light transmission and suppress glare. The combination of objective lens and coatings produce bright and clear high-contrast views with improved color representation.
This "RD" version of the Optika 6 features an illuminated red center aiming dot with seven selectable levels to make it clearly visible in all light conditions without affecting your dark-adjusted vision at dawn and dusk, when game is most active. The turrets feature a precise 1/4 MOA impact point correction with a wide 84 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range, with a exposed zero-stop tactical elevation turret that is ideally suited for fast long-range adjustments in the field. A large 30mm maintube is employed to withstand the rigors of recoil, and the housing is made of aluminum with a scratch-resistant low-reflectivity matte black anodized finish. The housing is also nitrogen filled to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging in extreme conditions and temperatures.
Optical Performance
- Broad 4.5-27x zoom range is optimized for long-range shooting and hunting, providing the ability to take in vast portions of the terrain on low power with the ability to dial up the magnification for positive identification and precise shot placement
- Large 50mm objective lens provides the light gathering capacity required to keep views crisp and bright when viewing targets at extreme distances on maximum magnification, it also keeps views bright in challenging light conditions such as at dawn and dusk
- Ion-assisted MeoBright multi-coatings maximize light transmission to deliver enhanced low-light performance while suppressing reflection and glare
- MeoShield coatings protect external lens surfaces and resist scratching and abrasion
- Hydrophobic MeoDrop coatings repel water, grease, skin oils, and lens surface contaminants that can impair view clarity
- 23.6-foot field of view on 4.5x, 4-foot on 27x
6.5 Creedmoor RD Reticle Details
- First focal plane placement is ideal for long-range precision hunting and shooting. The reticle size changes in proportion to the magnification and maintains consistent subtensions throughout the zoom range
- Modified duplex crosshair specifically designed for the ballistics of a 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge
- Clearly visible small red center aiming dot
- Long, thick posts on horizontal and lower vertical axes
- Thin hairs in center that extend all the way up on the upper axis
- Graduated hashmarks and stadia lines on the lower vertical axis aid in calculating ballistic drop compensation at various distances
- Upper half of the field of view is uncluttered
- Seven brightness settings that make the aiming point easy to see in all conditions, including in bright daylight
- Runs on one included CR2032 battery
Use and Handling
- Large textured zoom ring with integrated lever for fast and easy power changes
- Exposed locking zero-stop elevation tactical turret ensures repeatable shot placement and easy return to zero without having to count clicks or visually inspect the turret
- Low-profile capped windage turret
- Windage and elevation turrets are resettable to zero
- 1/4 MOA per click impact point correction
- 84 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range
- Parallax correction from 25 yards to infinity improves long range shot accuracy
- 55mmx0.75 threads on objective lens allows the use of filters—such as polarizing or neutral density—to improve the view in challenging conditions like on/near the water or in snow
- Comfortable 3.9" eye relief at all magnifications provides a generous eye box
