It's a digital spotting scope by day, a night vision device in the dark, and a photo and video camera all the time: the LN-G3-M Night Vision Monocular from Luna Optics is a versatile device with a wide range of applications.

The LN-G3-M uses an infrared-sensitive CMOS sensor and an infrared illuminator for an effective night vision range of up to 600 yards (under clear skies, with a full moon). A 0.4" HD micro-AMOLED 1280 x 720 screen displays color images during the day, and green or black and white when the night vision is on for great clarity and contrast. The monocular pulls distant objects close with 6x optical zoom and up to 36X digital zoom. It captures 12.MP photos and 1080p video, recording to the included 8GB microSD card, which can be upgraded by the user to 128GB. Micro-HDMI connectivity allows viewing on any HDTV or monitor, and the LN-G3-M can transmit via Wi-Fi to Android or iOS devices.

The LN-G3-M will run up to three hours on a fresh set of CR123A batteries. A multi-controller, intelligent image optimization and a manual brightness control make it easy to dial in the best viewing in any ambient light condition. Constructed with a water-resistant housing to withstand the rigors of the field, the monocular is equipped with a standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount. It measures 6.7 x 3.1 x 2.3" and weighs 1.1 pounds.
