Key Features
  • Transmits HDMI Signal to Phones/Tablets
  • Use Your iOS/Android Devices as Monitors
  • Sends to up to 4 Devices Simultaneously
  • Up to 328' Transmission over 5 GHz Wi-Fi
The Accsoon CineEye transmits an HDMI signal to phones and tablets, treating them as video receivers and allowing you to use them as real-time video monitors. CineEye accepts up to a 1080p60 HDMI signal via a full-size HDMI port, and it wirelessly transmits the signal to up to four separate iOS/Android mobile devices at the same time. The signal is sent over 5 GHz Wi-Fi up to 328' line of sight with a low latency of approximately 60ms. A companion CineEye iOS/Android app provides features such as false color, peaking, zebra, and histogram, as well as .cube format 3D LUT support, allowing your devices to function as professional video monitors. CineEye can be used for standard monitoring, remote focus pulls, and various other applications on set and otherwise.

Let me restate my question: All the info shows the app shows the video with control "buttons" and widgets on screen over the video. Is there a way to get the image to be just the video being transmitted? If so, then you could take the video output of the iPhone/iPad and use as input into a switcher...

but there will be a latency problem, check the spec for it. The Staff's suggestion would be way to go for pro-work but for hobbist try it and let us know! ^^

Can this device be used along with an external monitor?
Asked by: J
You can transmit the feed *from* an external monitor to the CineEye if your external monitor has a second HDMI output (eg., Atomos Ninja V and similar). You cannot transmit the feed *to* an external monitor using this device. It will only transmit a signal to a device with the appropriate app installed (eg., an iPad/iPhone/etc).
