Has anyone used this for scanning photo negatives?

To Dan - so I should just ignore the 100 or so videos by YouTube photographers that show how to DSLR camera scan negatives? Even the ones that compare the Epson V600 to camera scans where the v600 looks good but the camera scans look amazing? I recall reading an article right here on B&H extolling the virtues of camera scanning not to mention that you guys sell equipment to camera scan with. I gotta say, it's a weird take which I'm not even sure is completely accurate.

No idea. I returned the lens. Had no coupling between camera and lens at least on my DMC-GX85. Might be wonderful for another application, but I found it a useless combination.

If this only covers the APS-C size of the sensor will there be a circle/halo if used on a full frame camera like the EOS-R?
