7artisans Photoelectric 60mm f/2.8 Macro Reviews
Does what I expected
It's a macro lens. Takes great closeups and was exactly what I expected.
Exceeds Expectations
I wanted a macro lens, but had sticker shock on what was available for my xt-3. I picked up this lens, just so that I could get the close-ups I was looking for. This lens does not disappoint. Manual focus works great with fuji focus assist tools.
Great lens
Excellent lens for everything including macro
Good value for a inexpensive macro lens
As a starting point to try macro photography I wanted not to break the bank with the Olympus lense , this little unit is a very good start, my trial photos are both colourful and very sharp and I have adjusted to using manual focus very quickly, almost came as second nature after a few minutes. The only thing I did dislike is the press on front lens cap .
Good build , average glass
I have been using it for a while , for a price it's good , may be better than extension tube . If you really want to take good MACRO than it's not for you .
Decent Lens!
This was my first lens, and I still use it pretty often. I've taken some pretty good pics with it. One of the downsides is that it does not have auto focus. This means it takes longer to get a shot, for you have to focus it. But that is to be expected from a cheap lens! All these pictures are unedited.
Difficult focus
While I got a good shot every once in a while with this lens, it doesn't compare to my Fuji lenses which give me a way better % of usable shots. As other reviews mentioned, the manual focus is incredibly sensitive and ends up wasting a lot of time. IMO, splurge for the real thing.
Really impressed thus far
Images are very sharp and the build quality surprisingly solid considering the price.. fun to use and explore its use.
