AVPro Edge AC-EX100 Overview

This 4K HDMI HDBaseT Receiver from AVPro Edge offers a comprehensive 4K solution for large spaces such as auditoriums, large classrooms, large homes, and other environments requiring long cable runs. In a compact design, it allows long-distance extensions while providing two Ethernet outputs, bidirectional IR/PoE/RS-232, audio extraction, and EDID selection, and it can also be cascaded.

Over an optional Cat 6a cable, the receiver accepts up to a UHD 4K60 signal from a compatible transmitter (see below) from up to 230' away and 1080p/3D from 330'. HDR signals are supported in up to 4K24 4:2:2 12-bit or 4:2:0 10-bit. A PoE selector on the rear panel lets you choose whether the receiver or optional transmitter provides power to both units. Balanced 2-channel terminal block and RCA SPDIF audio ports allow you to run audio directly to a local AVR, or you can send the 2-channel audio to a distributed audio amplifier/matrix.

Are there supposed to be 2 power supplies? One for the transmitter, one for the receiver?
Asked by: Andrew
No. Only one power supply is included since the units support 48V power-over-HDBaseT (PoH), allowing one unit to be powered by the other.
