The DiskStation DS419slim 4-Bay NAS Enclosure from Synology is a cube-shaped device that provides on-the-go file access and sharing with secure file transfers. Designed to serve as a clever and reliable partner, it keeps your photos, videos, and files well organized. It is equipped with four 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD drive bays that support RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, Basic, and Synology Hybrid RAID. Each RAID mode provides performance gains, data redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who do not need the benefits of a RAID, JBOD is also available.

The DS419slim runs on Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) OS, which is a browser-based operating system which helps to simplify managing your Synology NAS. Its CPU is a 1.33 GHz Marvell Armada 385 88F6820 Dual-Core and its 512MB of DDR3L RAM allows frequently-used files and applications to be quickly accessed. The NAS is capable of achieving sequential read speeds of up to 223 MB/s and write speeds of up to 94 MB/s. Also featured are two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports which allows it to be connected to your Windows or Mac system, and network connectivity is achieved via the dual integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports that support failover and link aggregation, while also allowing your stored data to be shared with users throughout the network. Data may also be made remotely available through the free iOS and Android applications.

The DS419slim is engineered to be energy efficient. Not only does it offer a 60 x 60mm fan to help keep the system running cool at all times, its noise dampening design of 20.3 dBA makes for quiet operations. The server supports numerous scheduled power on / off cycles and hard drive hibernation to further minimize power consumption and operation expenses.

The Synology DiskStation DS419slim 4-Bay NAS Enclosure operates on 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz and includes a 360 AC power adapter and two RJ45 LAN cables. It is protected by a limited 2-year warranty.
