Tilta TA-BSP-V-G Overview

Add a battery to your Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K full or half cage with this gray V-Mount Battery Baseplate from Tilta. The baseplate features multiple DC outputs to power your camera and additional accessories, and it is constructed with durable aluminum, stainless steel, and ABS plastic components.

The baseplate features one 7.4 VDC barrel output, one 12 VDC barrel output, and a V-mount battery plate. The baseplate features two 2.4"-long vertical 15mm rods and a riser system that allows you to adjust the height of the baseplate to accommodate the size of your battery. The top of the baseplate features a camera mounting screw, padding to protect your camera from scratches, and anti-twist pins for a sturdy mount.

I want to power three devices through this. The two DTap outlets would be used for powering my MixPre3 and A7R3. Question: Can I use a barrel-to-barrel cable to connect my Atomos Ninja Flame to the Tilta power plate? My Atomos Ninja Flame currently use a power brick that outputs 12V at 3 amps, so I want to make sure that the Tilta will also output 12 volt and 3 amps.

Yes, I believe this would work. There is a 2.5/5.5mm 12V DC port on the battery plate.

Yes, both the V-mount and NPF Battery Baseplates will work on the Sony a7/a9 Series cage.

That exact brand hasn't been tested but as long as it fits on a regular V-mount plate and doesn't have it's own proprietary plate, it will work.

The width and length of the battery doesn't matter but the maximum depth that the Battery Baseplate can hold is 2 7/8".

The battery baseplates are mounted using a single 1/4"-20 screw so that would be possible to mount to the bottom of your Sony a7II. However, you would need to remove the two locking pins for the 1/4"-20 screw to mount flush to the bottom of the camera.

Yes you can. The V-Mount Battery baseplate has multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8" threads under it for attaching to a tripod.
