The DRE6K LPE6 Coupler & AC Power Supply Kit from Bescor replaces the original battery with a dummy battery inside cameras that use the LPE6 battery. The dummy battery connects to the included AC adapter, which then connects to an AC wall outlet to supply power to your camera. As a result, you can now work with your camera for a longer period of time without changing batteries.
- For Canon Cameras with LPE6 Batteries

Works and never had a problem
I bought a similar AC power supply from Amazon for my Canon 90D for cheaper, and it didn't even turn on or work. Went to B&H and spent the extra few dollars to get this one, and it worked perfectly with no issues. Go for this one rather than wasting your time with Amazon! Thanks B&H for helping with everything.
Absolutely Worth It, but a Tight Fit
This does a fabulous job - exactly what the pricey name brand will. The singular complaint I have (as you will see that others have also) is that the dummy battery may be a tight fit. I bought two for my EOS 80D and 70D. On the 80D, the battery fits perfectly, no extra pressure required. On the 70D, you have to push a little to get the internal lock to cinch the battery, but it DOES work. The wire is also a little thick, such that when the battery compartment door is closed (on both cameras), the door bends slightly upwards as the wire is a bit too thick for the rubber wire exit port, and you have to force it closed. I don't mind though, because the cameras are being used as webcams (with EOS Utility Webcam Beta, which is awesome), so it's not like I'm moving with the cameras to where the battery door could pop off. The actual power cable is long enough to be of easy convenience indoors.
Error on Canon camera screen - warning about damage
I don't recommend this item. It is not authorized by Canon and gives an error on the Canon camera screen and a warning that it may damage your camera. There is no mention of this in the product description. I tried on two different Canon cameras and got the same result. Hopefully, my cameras are not damaged.
Does not work with the EOS R.
The older comments saying that it works with EOS R are incorrect. The camera will warn you that the batteries may be counterfeit and then it will turn off until you remove the battery and put another one in. It may have worked in the past, but with the latest firmware (as of August 2020) it will not work with this camera.
Canon 5D Mark IV doesn't like it
It works well with my Canon 5D Mark III, but it will give you a prompt asking to trust the battery. You just have to accept it and it will work. With the Canon 5D Mark IV the prompt says that it is a counterfeit battery and turns off for safety,
So far so good
Only need this for a few unique occasions, but works as expected.
Great customer service!
I called looking for advice on purchasing a camera to use for livestreaming art classes over various platforms. Through the course of conversation, rather than sell me an expensive camera, I was advised to purchase a Power Supply Kit and use a camera I already owned. Works great! Save tons of money.
