Characterized by its especially slim design, the GF 50mm f/3.5 R LM WR Lens from FUJIFILM is a compact 40mm-equivalent prime designed for the medium format G-mount GFX camera system. Its sleek profile makes it ideal for walkaround and everyday shooting and completes a truly portable medium format system. The optical design incorporates one aspherical element, which controls distortion and spherical aberrations in order to realize a high degree of sharpness and clarity. Balancing the optical attributes, the lens also utilizes a linear AF motor for quick and quiet focusing performance, while a manual aperture ring also avails intuitive exposure adjustment, and a Command position permits making camera-based aperture selections. Additionally, the lens is also dust, freeze, and weather resistant for use in trying environmental conditions.

FUJIFILM GF 50mm f/3.5 R LM WR Reviews
It's good... just not as good as the camera.
The GFX cameras are crazy good. My GFX 50SII is an incredible imaging tool. But this lens is a little... meh. It's sharp enough stopped down to 5.6 but it does have some chromatic aberration and color fringing. I wish it was a little faster and I wasn't crazy about the softness at 3.5. I think it's a decent lens for everyday photography. It's not gonna go in the books at a killer piece of glass. (Then again, it's not killer expensive either.)
A Very Nice lens at a great price (when on sale)
I own the 30mm 3.5, the 45 2.8 plus ALL the GFX zooms. I LOVE this 50mm as a lightweight (relatively speaking) when I just want to carry my 100s, or my 50r. Per Digilloyd, and I have to concur, this lens due to its glass qualities is superb for creating pano's. I've used it for such and it's worked beautifully. I carry this now and not the 30, nor there 45 2.8
