No! At least not with the shiped firmware as of today. I spoke with Sigma this morning and they said you need the following firmware to avoid the "battery drain" issue.

So this lens doesn't have hard stops unfortunately, so it seems to vary depending on how slowly you turn the focusing ring.

I found that the aperture ring does not function with the current firmware, v1.5. Aperture must be controlled via the TL2 controls as with other Leica TL lenses.

This is a still photography lens so it does not have cine pitched gearing.

Will this 45mm on Panansonic S1 autofocus fast and accurate on moving subjects such as people walking fast toward the camera?
I haven’t tried your specific scenario but in general autofocus is very fast and accurate with this lens and the S1.
