The SHAPE Cage for DJI Osmo Action Camera was designed to be highly protective on all sides while ensuring increased heat dissipation. It leaves access to all ports and controls and offers multiple mounting options all around to allow for a comprehensive workflow.
It provides a shoe mount on top and one on the side. The top shoe mount can be used for attaching a top handle, a light, or other accessory. There are also two 1/4"-20 threaded holes next to the side shoe mount. Another 1/4"-20 threaded hole is provided on the bottom for mounting the cage on a mini tripod, articulating arm, or other accessory. A slot is also provided on the side that allows you to secure a carry strap.
Additionally, a two-prong mounting bracket is included and can be attached to the bottom for compatibility with various three-prong action cam support accessories. This bracket screws into the cage using two supplied M3 screws.
The camera inserts into the cage via an opening created by sliding a component on the rear upwards, like opening a window. Rubber padding inside the cage protects the camera from scratches.
