SHAPE Cage with Selfie Grip Mini Tripod for DJI Osmo Action Camera

The SHAPE Cage with Selfie Grip Mini Tripod for DJI Osmo Action Camera allows you to set your Osmo Action down on most surfaces as well as use it handheld. The mini tripod is ultra compact and can be placed pretty much anywhere indoors or outdoors, including desktops and staircase steps, to capture hard to reach action. Alternatively, you can fold it up and use it as an ergonomic handgrip that provides a point of balance for the camera. The cage attaches to a 1/4"-20 screw on the tripod, and the tripod rotates on a built-in mini ball head to let you find the ideal angle.

The dedicated cage was designed to be protective on all sides while ensuring increased heat dissipation. It leaves access to all ports and controls and provides mounting options all around. It features a shoe mount on top and one on the side. Next to the side shoe mount, there are two 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes. Another 1/4"-20 threaded hole is offered on the bottom for mounting the cage on a mini tripod, articulating arm, or other accessory.

While the cage has a 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom, it also comes with a 2-prong mounting bracket that can be attached to the bottom for compatibility with action cam support accessories. The bracket screws in using two supplied M3 screws.

This cage has a somewhat unique design. In order to insert the camera, you first have to slide up a rear part, similar to lifting a window open. Rubber padding inside the cage protects the camera from scratches. A slot is also available on the side of the cage for securing an optional carry strap for added safety.
