This 100 x 100mm Nano MC ND Filter is an ND filter with an 8x filter factor that provides a 3-stop exposure reduction. Its 0.9 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Compatible with filter holders that can accommodate 100mm wide, 2mm thick filters, this neutral density filter does not affect the coloration of the image and is ideal for pairing with other filters.
Sirui Nano MC ND Filters are constructed from Schott B270 glass for increased optical clarity as well as color fidelity. To help eliminate internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface of this 100 x 100mm Nano MC ND Filter includes multiple layers of anti-reflection coatings. The filter is also coated for resistance to oil, static, dirt, and scratches, offering greater protection to the filter and helping it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. The coatings are also hydrophobic, resulting in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency.
