Unfortunately no. When using the DJI Extension Rod for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket, the phone clamp will not support portrait orientation.

If I am using an iPhone, for example, would I use a USBc-to-lightning cable from the bottom of the osmo to my phone? Or a lightning extension cable from the osmo smart phone adapter to my phone?
Will this preclude the use of an external mic?
If connecting your phone, you can connect wirelessly by adding the wireless module or you will connect the the osmo pocket directly to your smartphone via lightning to USB-C cable.
When using this extension rod, you will not have access to use a microphone input.

I assume it will work with the Pocket 2 with the do-it-all handle. Can someone confirm?
The do it all handle is placed at the bottom of the camera so its basically out the way and the pocket 2 slides into the rod hinge mount sideways as if it was the joy stick controller. The rod holde opens to the side on a hinge and once the camera is in place and the hinge gate is closed you can lock it in place. I like my rod extension handle. My only complaint about it is that inorder to charge the handle the camera has to be in it and the rod handle is charged THROUGH the camera. The Handle can not be charged by itself.
