Anyone have any charging times they can share vs my experience so far. I am using this grip on a new a7siii with 2 np-fz100 batteries and using the supplied USB-C cable that came with the camera attempting to charge. I am using an ipad charging brick since there was no charging brick supplied in either the camera or grip. It delivers 5.2V and 2.4A and the camera has been charging now for almost 20 hours and its still not finished. Anyone have any results they can share with the same gear?
Asked by: Martin
I'm using the same batteries and get great results with a Hahnel pro Cube2 charger plugger into a wall outlet. Two spent batts take about an hour to come up fully charged. I don't charge from the grip. I take 4 charged batts with me if I thinkl I'll need them but haven't run out yet on remote jobs. a9II and a74.
