Mini Gadgets HCNVMINICUBE Reviews
Very good
Works very good
Proprietary charging cable apparently
After losing the cable that came with it, I figured no big deal, just go on the web and get another one. There's NO DOCUMENTATION about what type of cable it uses, nor can I find any kind of cable on the internet that looks like would fit the port on this device. How is this possible?!
Just what I needed
It's simple and easy to use. For the price, the image quality is better than I expected. Certainly money well spent.
great little camera
using for viewing model train layout travel. easy to use
exactly what I needed
Caught a kinky thief stealing underwear! Three times in the past few months all my shorts went missing from the laundry room, so I bought this little camera. It caught the thief at work and the apartment manager recognized him immediately. He had a big cache of stolen underwear. (Men and women!) Now about the camera. Really happy with the video quality for such a cheap little thing. I've never tried 1080 mode since 720 was more than good enough. Motion detect works well and is a big help since you don't have to fast forward thru video of an empty room. The time display at the bottom of the picture is another plus. Some minor complaints. First, the instructions are WRONG about setting the clock. It won't set if you use the date / time format in the instructions. You have to follow the format of the time.txt file. When you save the file it sets the clock, then the camera immediately restores the file to the default, which is 1 second before midnight on Jan 1 2020. Clock continues to run when camera is off. Also, you do NOT need to remove the chip to set time! Use the supplied USB cable to connect camera and computer. (Camera doesn't need to be turned on.) A window pops up automatically showing the newly attached storage device. From there you can edit the time file, transfer your video files, or even watch them through the USB connection. On my 6 year old computer, 720p videos play back perfectly through the USB port. The mount is a plastic plate you can screw to a wall. An arm with a couple flex joints comes out from the plate. You snap an alligator clip to the camera, then clip camera to end of the arm. But I just used the alligator clip (which rotates 360 degrees) to secure the camera in its hiding spot. Aside from some little gripes, the product is great. Excellent value for the money.
Great picture. Great price.
Overall, I love this little thing. Didn't know what to expect from something this small.
Micro SD card impossible to remove, then insert
Micro SD card impossible to remove, then insert - jammed in slot. poorly made.. not high quality
Not what's advertised
This is not a 1080p device as advertised. Once product was received it is clearly 720p. Entire device is cheap, held together by electrical tape. The image quality is terrible and it doesn't do well in dimly lit areas. All in all this product is only worth about $5. Would not recommend unless you bought it cheaper than $5.
