Enjoy the high power of 16x magnification without having to use a tripod with the Fujinon 16x28 Techno-Stabi Image-Stabilized Binoculars. With a vibration suppression range of ±3°, you'll see the details of far-off subjects without the distracting hand shake that typically spoils the view of traditional high-power optics and you'll find them especially useful when glassing from a moving vehicle or while running a boat across choppy seas.

Fully multi-coated optics and phase-corrected prisms deliver a bright and crisp image with accurate color and vivid contrast, and the 16mm eye relief and twist-up eyecups make the Techno-Stabi binoculars comfortable to use while wearing glasses and viewing through them for long periods of time. They will run for up to 12 hours on the included CR2 lithium battery and comes with a case and a strap.

Optical Performance

  • ±3° image stabilization keeps views steady against natural hand shake, vibration from moving vehicles, and pitching seas
  • Powerful 16x magnification is ideal for nature watching, birding, sporting events, concerts, and wide-field astronomical use
  • Compact 28mm objective lenses reduce overall form factor to maintain an easy-to-hold design
  • Reverse Porro prism light path produces a more compact housing versus traditional Porro designs
  • BAK4 prism glass delivers a round exit pupil and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
  • Phase-corrected prism coatings eliminate internal light interference to boost resolution and contrast
  • Anti-reflection fully multi-coated lenses maximize light transmission to keep views bright and clear with accurate color representation
  • 210-foot field of view at 1000 yards

Use and Handling

  • Low-profile slip-resistant center-focus wheel
  • Twist-up eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewear
  • Right eye dioptric correction enables tack-sharp focusing even without perfect eyesight
  • 56-70mm interpupillary adjustment range accommodates users of all sizes
  • Comfortable 16mm eye relief reduces eyestrain during long observation sessions
  • Runs on one included CR2 battery, with up to 12 hours runtime
  • Auto shutoff after 10 minutes of inactivity conserves battery life

How good are this binoculars for observing the night sky? Are the stars focused clearly?
Asked by: Arturo
It would be ideal. Most sky-watchers who use binoculars, are looking through them for extended time periods (longer than 30sec.) What becomes an obvious factor as you are looking through the binoculars is your hand shake. Stabilized binoculars will improve your viewing.

question

What size UV filters will these accept?
Asked by: Harvey H.
These binocular's are not made to thread filter's onto. My apologies. The inside diameter are 48mm, but I would not recommend doing this. They might strip the threading of the front objectives, and do damage.

question

is the 13mm eye relieve too short for people who wear glasses?
Asked by: Anonymous
No, if you fold down the eyecups, you can still get the full field of view wearing eyeglasses. Be aware that the eyecups may leave smudges, easily cleaned, on your glasses.
