EzCast Pro Dongle II plugs directly into your 4K TV or projector and allows you to screen mirror iOS/Android devices and Mac/Windows computers over 5 GHz Wi-Fi. It provides an efficient casting solution for your multimedia presentations.
The dongle connects to your display's HDMI port and functions as a wireless receiver. After plugging it in and configuring Wi-Fi network settings from your mobile device or computer, you can set up signal transmission via the companion app. Dongle II allows up to four users to multicast their presentation materials on the same display in a split screen. (Audio and video are not supported in a split screen).
Dongle II provides key improvements over the original EzCast Pro Dongle. It supports 4K output, allowing you to screen mirror wirelessly to 4K displays. A more powerful built-in Wi-Fi transceiver ensures faster and more stable Wi-Fi performance (Dongle II specifically requires 5 GHz Wi-Fi). And the hardware has further been improved with 1GB DDR3 memory.
Two downloadable apps, EZCast Pro and ProCast, are included with the Dongle II. Between these apps, you can perform many of the functions of the Dongle II. Dongle II also natively supports AirPlay, Miracast, and Chromecast, enabling you to stream video without installing any apps.
After connecting the dongle to your display's or projector's HDMI port, you still have to plug it into a power source. For this the dongle features a USB Type-C port and comes with a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable, so you can plug it into any standard USB Type-A 5V/1.5A or higher power adapter, sold separately.
