The EZCast Pro T01 QuattroPod Transmitter pairs with an optional QuattroPod receiver and provides an efficient 4K wireless casting solution for meeting and conference rooms.
You can connect a smartphone, tablet, or laptop to the transmitter, and the signal is sent to the optional receiver over 5 GHz Wi-Fi and mirrored on the output display. Up to four transmitters can send to the same receiver simultaneously, and the screen contents can be displayed at the same time in a 4-quadrant split screen. The transmitter supports iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows systems, so cross-platform presentations can be delivered.
Ultimately, up to 32 transmitters can be paired to the same receiver, but only four can transmit at a time. The QuattroPod system works on its own Wi-Fi network, so you won't have to constantly change Wi-Fi settings and can work plug-and-play. Mobile devices connect to the transmitter's USB port, and laptops can be connected to the HDMI or DisplayPort inputs.
If your display is a touchscreen, you can actually control your presentation from that display. Also, whereas other EZCast Pro products may require you to use a companion app, the QuattroPod system is controlled from an EZCast Web interface, simplifying use. Output resolution and other settings are assignable via this interface; otherwise, the onboard control buttons do most of the work in just a few steps.
The transmitter features two USB ports, one of which is for power. The most common way of powering the transmitter is by connecting it to the USB port of the laptop being used in the presentation. Alternatively, an optional USB power supply can be used. Also, if you connect to a network router, PoE power can be run from the router to the transmitter's Ethernet port.
